Rail and Square Table Runner

$45.00

This one-of-a-kind table runner was handmade from four rail and square blocks set on-point. The focus botanical fabric has purple and pink flowers with gold highlights on a pale green background. Two coordinating fabrics (a light and a dark green print) combined with the focus fabric to make up the rail squares.

The rail squares and focus fabric squares make up the blocks which go together to create an appearance of blocks on top of blocks or a stacked illusion.

The machine-pieced blocks are set with dark green background triangles creating a runner with points at each end.

Runner is machine quilted, with all 100% cotton fabrics and batting. Backing fabric is a coordinating mottled dark green print. The table runner is finished with a dark green binding from the same dark green fabric that is on the front of the runner.

Table runner measures 19” wide x 57” long, point to point.

Machine pieced and quilted by Margaret Spevak.
