2027 Get-Away Dates Set
The dates and prices are set for the 2027 Get-Away Retreats at The Mansion at Keuka Lake. In April of 2027, we will once again be gathering for two back-to-back retreats. Retreat #1 will be Friday, April 23 - Sunday, April 25 (with an optional extra day on Thursday, April 22). Get-Away Retreat #2 will immediately follow Tuesday, April 27 - Thursday, April 29 (with an optional Monday, April 26). If you want to have a really special Get-Away, consider attending both retreats for 9 days of quilting and crafting with fellow makers. Contact me for information on discounts for attending both Get-Aways, if you are interested.
Join us at this lovely mansion with a large, well-lit “sewing room” where every retreater will have an 8-foot table as a work station. The “sewing room” will also be equipped with cutting and ironing stations. There will be a pop-up quilt shop with anything you may have forgotten or fabric and kits to keep you busy if you didn’t bring enough U.F.O.s.
Stay in the lovely Mansion, where the rooms are decorated with antique furniture and modern bathrooms in each room. Or stay in the adjacent inn where every room overlooks Keuka Lake in Western New York’s beautiful Fingerlakes region. Either way, a comfortable bed awaits you each night.
All three meals each day are included in the retreat cost. Enjoy chef prepared breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Snacks will be provided each afternoon. A welcome wine reception will be included at happy hour on the first afternoon of the basic retreat (Friday at Retreat #1 and Tuesday at Retreat #2). Learn a little about the surrounding New York Fingerlakes wine region at these receptions. A public cash bar on-site will be available each night from happy hour until early evening.
A free pattern is included for an optional guided quilt project. Also, receive a free kit for a mini-class on one afternoon of each retreat. A welcome bag and other goodies await you at the beginning of your Get-Away Retreat.
