French Braid Tree Skirt Class Just Added

Posted By on November 24, 2012

It’s not too late to make a tree skirt for this Christmas!  Join me at my studio for the next two Tuesday evenings, November 27 and December 4, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.,  and make this beautiful yet easy French Braid tree skirt.  A French braid is similar to a half-log cabin to quilt and pieces remarkably fast.  Select a fun print for the edge triangles and then choose coordinating braid fabrics and one accent fabric (for the squares).  We’ll learn to sew the braids on the first week, and piece the braids into a tree skirt on the second week.  We’ll also discuss a couple of quick and easy ways to quilt your new tree skirt.  To register, click here and send me an email.  I will then send you a supply list and give you directions to my studio (#307)  at the Hungerford building.   The cost of the class is $40.
