Welcome

Welcome to my new website! You’re looking at a photo of my French Braid quilt for a class I will be teaching at Jackie Lynn’s this winter. It’s an easy quilt to make, similar to a half-log cabin, that can really show off a collection of fabrics. You can sign up for this class and others this Saturday, January 16, at the Classes on Parade at Jackie Lynn’s. I’ll be there from 10am-3pm to answer your questions. Door prizes and class specials will also be a part of this day.
Now you can check my blogs regularly to see the latest news regarding my classes, retreats and events. Also, I will share other information regarding quilting like quilting tips, local events, links and other fun things. My classes this winter will be starting in February. On February 4, from 4-7pm I will be doing a class sale and sign up at my home (28 Grassmere Park, in Charlotte) for classes at all of the locations where I teach. Stop by on the way home from work for a glass of wine and to see the samples and sign up for a class this winter.
The newsletter, just like the one mailed out in the fall and winter, will be available on this site in a pdf format for you to download and print if you like…in color. I’m still working on the 2010 Winter issue so check back for that. There will still be the quilt gallery, so you can view your finished quilts and those of your classmates. It will eventually be in a slide show format, like a mini-quilt show.
So, browse through the new site as it’s emerging, and let me know what you think so far!
Happy Quilting,
Margaret
