Connie Deming's CD "Touchstones"
Hope you had a good Valentine’s Day. My husband took me out to see a wonderful local musician, Connie Deming, Sunday evening. She has a new album of original music called Touchstones. And the last song on the album is titled “Quilt Song.” This Friday at MuCCC during the reading of the play “What is Art?” she will be performing her song and I will be accompanying her by “building a sampler quilt” of the blocks she sings about in her song. I’m busily making the blocks now.
