Bag Lady Series Begins Feb. 19

Make a bag a month in the new Bag Lady Series with me at Jackie Lynn Fabrics. We’ll meet one Friday a month and make a different purse or tote. Our first class is Friday February 19, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and we will be making a easy Maple Island pattern: Wallet & Grommet. This bag has trendy curtain grommets as detail and a bonus wallet pattern. The grommets are super easy to snap in place, no tools needed! On March 12, we’ll be making a “green” Market Tote from a fat quarter and pet screen which you can purchase at your local hardware store. This airy tote bag is perfect to take to the market, but is also great to take to the beach or just to tote around your crafts. Learn an easy way to sew in a zipper while making Terry Atkinson’s Tag-Along Tote at the April 16th Bag Lady class. It’s big enough to hold all the essentials (cell phone, keys, sunglasses and wallet) and the long strap handle fits over your neck and shoulder for easy hands free shopping. Classes are only $30 each, but sign up for all three for just $25 each (a $15 savings). Join us and be a bag lady too!
